• BENICIA CONTRACTOR PLEADS GUILTY TO INSURANCE FRAUD AFTER UNDERREPORTING NEARLY $1 MILLION IN PAYROLL
  A 67-year-old man from Benicia has pleaded guilty to six charges of insurance fraud and grand theft after a joint investigation with the California Department of Insurance, Solano County District Attorney’s Office and the Employment Development Department (EDD) revealed he underreported payroll by nearly $1 million to illegally save on workers’ compensation insurance and taxes.
